Task 1: I think the most relevant resources for my students are:
1) Free English lessons (English with Jennifer, Let’s talk!)
2) “How to” lessons (Howcast, Instructables)
3) English through songs (ABC Kid TV)
I can use these resources by inserting them in to my blog and my pupils will work with them or use them even during lessons by means of a projector. As my pupils like singing I can use ABC Kid TV at the beginning of the lesson.
Task 2: TeacherTube is different from YouTube because it is more specific. If on YouTube we find general videos, on TeacherTube we find efficient ideas tor teaching.
Teachers can use photos by asking pupils to describe/comment a picture or to answer to questions like how many people do you see, where are they, what color is …, or to make up a short essay using 5 pictures.
Teachers can use audios to make pupils complete some empty spaces, or write a dictation or to resume the information in two sentences.
Teachers can use videos to give information to a given topic asking pupils what they learnt new, or giving them a mini test as to check what they understood.
TeacherTube proposes a lot of teaching ideas and you can use other user’s suggestions or you can add your own as a comment or post.
